Update 0.1.73 Reworks Investment, Lottery, and Speech Support

Update 0.1.73, titled Fixes and Scam Upgrades, was posted on October 16, 2026. It combines economy reworks, confirmation checks, multiplayer caller cleanup, and Windows speech-compatibility fixes.

Investment And Lottery Reworks

Bitcoin and Meme Coin are now live investment rounds. You pitch the coin, persuade the caller to invest, and choose when to cash out for up to $700. Investment values rise toward a randomly timed market crash. Reassuring the caller can delay a withdrawal, but it cannot prevent the crash. You can still cash out for remaining value during the crash; getting caught, losing the caller, or waiting too long forfeits unpaid earnings.

Meme Coin no longer needs a purchase-confirmation code or a separate crash button. Cash Out collects the round's earnings. Animated values, market sounds, and clearer cash-out and loss effects support the new flow.

Lottery Prize now asks you to convince the caller to email their ticket, enter a confirmation code, and scratch all three numbers. Prizes are $0, $200, $500, or $1,000, with a 5% jackpot chance. Scratching reveals and pays the prize; the jackpot adds confetti.

Confirmation Checks And Caller Pool

Police Impersonation requires the caller's fine-payment confirmation number before payout. Investment Scam requires the caller's invoice number, and the payout matches the agreed investment.

The caller pool now cycles through available callers before repeats, avoiding recent callers where possible. In multiplayer, duplicate Daily Callers entries were fixed, and adding, removing, and resetting callers was improved.

Speech, Voices, And Windows Compatibility

Automatic microphone leveling is enabled by default. Turn it off in General settings to adjust the in-game phone microphone manually from 50% to 200%.

Moonshine English recognition was added for the speech-compatibility path, including older Windows processors without AVX. Whisper was restored on older Windows processors with AVX but without AVX2. Experimental recognition and caller voices arrived for Windows ARM and Snapdragon PCs, while Qwen3 TTS remains unavailable there.

The update fixes speech and voice initialization crashes on affected Windows PCs, smooths uneven caller speech timing, improves Qwen3 startup and GPU checks, and fixes blank or cut-off caller messages in phone history.
